Design Process

The design process begins with the initial meeting between Redbud and the client. In this meeting the client talks about the different needs and problems that exist in their projects. We have the flexibility to deal with a specific need or problem by offering several different ideas though a creative design that lays out the potential solutions, including a detailed breakdown of the costs to install the design.

We also offer our clients the option of a master design that addressees the entire project and offers creative solutions for the short and long term goals for the homeowner.

With this design the project is broken down into phases that allows the client to complete the project over a period of time.

About the Owner

Ben Goeke graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Landscape Architecture in 1981. From 1981 to 1989 Ben worked with various commercial landscape firms on such projects as Leadership Square, the Meriad Gardens, and One Bell Central. In 1989 Ben went out on his own and started what was originally called Goeke Landscape and Design and has now matured into Redbud Design and Landscape. During this metamorphosis Ben also became a registered licensed landscape architect.

Since the creation of Redbud Design, Ben has at one time or another found himself in most all of the subdivisions in the metro area, Tulsa, Bartlesville and as far away as Chicago, IL and Fort Worth, TX.

Over the past several years Ben has been published several times in the daily Oklahoman featuring a number of his residential projects.

Ben continually strives to enhance the lives of others through his artistic and naturalistic approach to landscape design.
